Introducing batches

Batches keep related generations together.

Choose your games and templates, generate, then add more to the same batch whenever you need to. Each time you generate, a new round keeps track of what was made.

Start a batch from anywhere

Click Generate on a game in Games, search, the Roadmap or a game’s page to add it to New batch in the header tray. Only you can see it until you start generating.

  • Choose templates for each game, or use Apply templates to all.
  • Give the batch a name or ticket reference. Leave it blank to use the date and time.
  • Press Generate to start, or Add to a batch to put the games into an existing batch.

Pending games

Pending games stay in their batch and generate automatically when they’re ready, using the templates you chose. No need to come back and press Generate again.

The tray’s Pending tab shows all pending games across your team and which batches they belong to.

Working with a batch

Open a batch to see its files, grouped by game. Click any file to open it in the editor. To see files from a particular round, open Details and select the round.

  • Move or copy files. Drag files onto another batch in the sidebar, or use Move to…. Hold Option while dragging to copy.
  • Flag files that need fixing. Add an optional note and use Flagged in the header to filter them.
  • Retry failed games. Retry from the header or a game’s row. The new files stay in the same round.
  • Export and share. Download the whole batch as one ZIP, Copy to Figma, or push to Google Drive or SharePoint where your team has them connected.

Click the batch name to rename it. Download date range and Show guidelines are now in the batch’s ⋯ menu.

Finding your batches

The Generations sidebar now lists batches, with Team and Mine views. If only one person on your team generates, you’ll see a single list.

Search by batch name, creator, game or provider. Scroll down to load older batches.

Your previous generations are all here, with one batch per run and their original dates and order preserved. Old links still work, opening the matching batch with the right round selected.
