Lobby Magic Plugin for Figma
Search your games and place their art in Figma, import batches as editable layers, and select an imported frame to see its game.
The Lobby Magic plugin brings your games and generations into the Figma file you're working on. Install it from the Figma Community, run it from Plugins, then choose Connect Lobby Magic and approve the connection for your team in your browser.
Games
Search the games your team can see and open one to browse its generations, logos, backgrounds, characters, screenshots and PSD previews, grouped as they are in the app.
- Add to the canvas: double-click a tile, press its +, or drag it onto the canvas or into a frame.
- Fill a layer: select a shape in Figma, pick an image and choose Fill. Logos and characters fit inside the shape; backgrounds and generations fill it.
- See what's already in the file: tiles you've placed are marked Placed, and games used in the file are listed under In this file.
Batches
Browse your recent batches and import a whole batch, or only the generations you pick, as editable layers with live text or as PNGs. Saved names and arrangements carry over, and a stopped import picks up where it left off.
Select a frame to see its game
Select a frame you imported as editable layers, or any layer inside it, and the plugin opens that game's assets. Select a frame from another game and it switches. Frames from several games are listed under In selection.
If you've opened a game yourself or ticked some tiles, the plugin stays where it is and offers the frame's game instead, so you can fill a layer with art from a different game.
Editable imports now handle more fonts, fitted text and image locations, and keep going while the file's tab is in the background.
To disconnect, use the team menu in the plugin or Settings → Figma in the app.
